Operation Help the World is dedicated to providing children living in poverty with School backpacks full of school supplies.
We collect donated new backpacks and school supplies for children in the communities with the greatest need. Backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies are distributed to children in schools, human service organizations, at-risk youth centers, homeless shelters and foster care centers in the US and Worldwide.
This program ensures children get to start the first day of school feeling confident and prepared to succeed academically.

With over 12 million children living in extreme poverty in the US, showing up on the first day of school without the proper tools can be daunting and discouraging for most.
In 2022, 9 million kids lived in Poverty in the USA—that’s almost 1 in every 6 children.
According to World Bank, recent estimates for global poverty are that 8.6% of the world. That is 700 million people, live in extreme poverty on $2.15 or less a day.
With such low-income providing food and shelter become the priority, and kids' education is generally put on the back burner.
We are in desperate need of new school backpacks for our fellow children in Nairobi Kenya.
Pastor Kimwele Harrison oversees the Zion Home for children in Nairobi. This facility houses children that come from all over Kenya, where some are found in the streets, others may be brought to the Home by their family who can't afford to care for them.
Operation Help the World has joined his ministry to assist fulfill this urgent need.
